James Pasqual Bettio, started his artistic career after graduating in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. He later developed Artography, a process that bridges the gap between painting and photography for which he had won an honorary fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. The Artography artworks were exhibited in many Californiamuseums. The first show of Artography, the process, was at the Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles, 1967. The Artist’s creativity, organization, and motivation skills had served many artistic groups, Art Councils and included serving as Senator in the California Senior Legislature.
