Dan Monteavaro
Dan Monteavaro is originally from New York and currently Works in both New York and Los Angeles. Jackson Pollack wrote "the modern artist is living in a mechanical age..." And investigating how we are in a digital age now where even the latest military fatigues are pixellated, which says less about how the environment is different and more about how we are perceiving things is at the core of his recent works.Conceptualizing the idea of pixelization and how we as a society are now perceiving things based on less of an actual visual reference point and more from a digital view/source. Dan has shown work both nationally and internationally at numerous International fairs ( Basel Miami, SFIAF, ArtHamptons) as well as showing in various galleries in Tribeca, New York and Los Angeles, California. His work is in numerous private and public collections including the French Consulate in California.
